Exciting news from Kontena!

We’ve just completed the first delivery of many containerized data center units (EDGE-600) for Nscale’s latest project in Glomfjord. Navigating through narrow Norwegian tunnels, the 45ft beast arrived at its destination.

This first unit is a fully outfitted EDGE – HPC data room designed to handle a 600kW load with full redundancy. On top it houses a ICE – HPC cooling unit, part of the KONNECT HPC system, to keep all equipment at the right temperature.

What’s even more exciting? This is just the start! We’ll be delivering additional 9 IT containers and 5 extra Docker units. These will connect all EDGE data units into a cohesive data center environment. This project showcases the best of modular scalability with a sleek and unified design.

Big thanks to our amazing team and partners for making this milestone possible. We’re eager to keep pushing the boundaries of modular data center design and can’t wait to share more updates soon!

Stay tuned for more on this cutting-edge project!
