E-House

Big power, small footprint.

The KONNECT E-Houses are modular, prefabricated substations designed to house medium-voltage and low-voltage switchgear, UPS systems, critical power equipment, battery cabinets, and automation cabinets.

Like all our modules, the E-House solution is a cost-effective, risk-reduced alternative to conventional concrete block and brick construction. Each module is fully engineered to meet specific requirements regarding equipment application, site footprint limitations, and logistics considerations.

Standardised Quality, Customised Execution

Every project has its own specifications. Therefore, our solutions are fully modular; while we typically start from a standardised design, the dimensions and technical specifications of the module and its internal equipment are tailored to your specific project needs.

To ensure every module is delivered as a fully functional, pre-tested unit, all fabrication and equipment installation take place within our controlled facility. This transportable approach significantly reduces on-site installation and commissioning work, providing greater schedule predictability and a faster path to operational power.

Project Example: 3500kW E-House

Every module is project-specific, this E-House is ready for integration into a data center project in combination with a KONNECT AI/HPC Whitespace, for 3500kW.

The E-House is equipped with:

  • 2* corresponding 1750kW UPS systems
  • 5 min EOL backup lithium battery towers
  • battery protection cabinet
  • 2* MCC switchboards with an automatic transfer switch

The modules are designed to be installed on top of the Whitespaces because of limited floorspace. This solution ensures uninterrupted uptime and safeguards equipment by maintaining consistent power quality.
