The Meet-Me-Room (MMR) stands as the critical gateway of the data center. As the physical intersection where carrier networks and client infrastructure converge, our modular MMR solutions provide a secure, carrier-neutral environment designed to eliminate the complexities of traditional fibre entry.
We designed the MMR to be a neutral, high-density hub where global networks connect with absolute reliability.

The product is part of our KONNECT ecosystem. We provide an extensive array of modular components designed to seamlessly initiate any high-performance computing (HPC) operation. Our products range from power supply units and data rooms to a variety of cooling solutions. By utilizing top-tier components and leveraging smart modular design, we introduce an alternative to traditional data centers. This approach not only cuts costs but also accelerates deployment and improves scalability at any location.

Central to our modular architecture is a dedicated environment engineered to house the physical connection between carrier networks and client infrastructure. This space is specifically designed to manage high-density optical distribution frames (ODF) and complex cross-connect requirements.
Our modular design allows for site-specific scaling, ensuring that as carrier density increases over time, the internal layout remains optimised for cable management and maintenance access. By providing a scalable, ‘plug-and-play’ foundation, our MMRs ensure your connectivity is as future-proof as it is reliable.
Built with the same commitment to quality as our entire range of products, each module features a secure, all-weather-resistant housing. We recognise that every project carries its own unique technical requirements; therefore, every unit is built-to-size to accommodate varied demands.
Both the external dimensions and the internal configuration are tailored to match specific constraints, providing a truly bespoke interconnection solution. This flexibility ensures that the module integrates seamlessly into your existing site infrastructure.
To protect the network’s “first mile,” the MMR serves as a reinforced Point of Entry (POE) that prioritises equipment safety. Each module is a fully climate-controlled enclosure, ensuring thermal stability for sensitive networking hardware regardless of external conditions.
Furthermore, every unit is equipped with integrated fire security systems, providing a hardened, standalone vault that is as resilient and efficient as the servers it supports.
One or multiple MMRs are placed, dependent on the amount of network setup and/or customer specs. The MMR is equipped with:
Carrier Racks: Dedicated racks for different Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and multiple telecommunication carriers.
Optical Distribution Frames (ODF): High-density frames used to manage and terminate the fibre-optic cables.
Patch Panels: These allow for “cross-connects”, the physical cables that link a carrier’s equipment to a customer’s cage.
Splice Trays: Where individual fibre strands are fused or connected.
Cable Trays and Ladders: Overhead systems (separated by carrier and high/low-voltage) to keep cables organised.
DC Power Plants: MMRs often run on -48V DC power with dedicated battery backups to ensure the network stays up even if the main AC power fails.
Cooling: Since the MMR is a high-density area, it has its own dedicated Air Handling Unit.
